Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 28, 2026

Site: nfl-records.com ("NFL Records", "we", "us")

NFL Records is a free reference site for historical NFL Draft data. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit, who it is shared with, and what choices you have.

Information We Collect

You do not need an account to use NFL Records, and we do not ask you for personal information such as your name, address, or payment details. We do not sell personal information.

Like most websites, we automatically receive limited technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type and version, device type, referring page, and the pages you view. This information is used to understand how the site is used and to keep it working correctly.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. NFL Records uses them for two purposes: measuring site usage, and serving advertising. We show a consent notice on your first visit; dismissing it stores a single cookie that remembers your choice so the notice is not shown again.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand aggregate traffic patterns — which pages are popular, how visitors arrive, and where the site is slow or confusing. Microsoft Clarity may record anonymized interaction data such as clicks and scrolling in order to produce heatmaps and session playback. These tools report to us in aggregate; we do not use them to identify individual visitors.

You can review Google's Privacy Policy and Microsoft's Privacy Statement for how they handle this data.

Advertising

NFL Records displays advertising served by Google AdSense. To support this:

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings. You can also opt out of third-party vendor cookie use for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices or the NAI opt-out page. More detail is available in Google's advertising policies.

Managing Cookies in Your Browser

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies through its settings. Blocking cookies will not prevent you from reading anything on NFL Records, though you may see the consent notice repeatedly and any advertising you see will be less relevant.

Data Retention

We do not maintain a database of visitor records. Analytics data is retained by Google and Microsoft under their own retention schedules and is available to us only in aggregate form.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information held about you, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. Because NFL Records does not collect or store personal information directly, most such requests are best directed to Google or Microsoft, who process the analytics and advertising data described above. If you have a request relating to this site specifically, contact us and we will respond.

Children's Privacy

NFL Records is a general-audience sports reference site and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Third-Party Content

Player photographs are loaded from publicly available NFL and ESPN media servers, and team and college logos are loaded from their respective content networks. When your browser requests those images, those services receive your IP address. NFL Records is not affiliated with the NFL, any NFL club, or any college program.

External Links

Some pages link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of sites we do not operate.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the site changes. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version.
