Draft Details
Plaxico Burress is a wide receiver who played college football at Michigan State. He was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 1st round (8th overall pick) of the 2000 NFL Draft. He recorded 599 career receptions for 9,190 yards and 70 touchdowns in 156 games. As a first-round selection, Plaxico Burress was considered one of the top prospects in the 2000 NFL Draft class.
